COLD BREW TEA – OUR HOT TIP FOR GREEN TEA

Those who only think of coffee when they think of “cold brew” will now be surprised. Because delicious “Cold Brew” can also be prepared with the invigorating and particularly healthy green tea. For example, in our multi-talent, the EVE filter teapot.

This is how you prepare COLD BREW TEA:

    • Fill the EVE strainer with 1.5 tablespoons of green tea and 2 tablespoons of dried mint.
    • Pour cold water to the top of the EVE sleeve.
    • Leave to infuse for 8 hours or overnight at room temperature.
    • Remove the strainer and refine your COLD BREW TEA with the juice of a lemon.
    • Sweeten with a little elderflower syrup or acacia honey.
    • Now chill the tea.
    • To serve, take the EVE ICE-COOLER out of the freezer. Hang it in the pot.
    • Finally, add a sprig of fresh mint to the EVE. This looks especially nice and adds extra flavour.

Almost all types of tea are suitable for cold brewing. Our favourites for the trendy drink are loose white tea or green teas. Unlike regular iced tea, COLD BREW TEA is prepared with cold water. In regular tea preparation with hot water, the temperature ensures that the caffeine present in the tea leaves as well as the bitter substances are dissolved. Cold Brewing prevents this to a large extent. The result is a refreshing, aromatic drink that revitalises and promotes your health.
